'm a slightly derailed fine arts student who after two years of recovery of a mental breakdown caused by late night sexual exploitation by my first boyfriend, plans to return to Sir Wilfred Grenfell College in the fall. I don't know what I'm going to do when I get there (except for hopefully not fail) but I do know that if I don't go I'm going to regret it for the rest of my life, so reluctantly, I drag myself forward.

Got this boyfriend named Adam who's pushing me to go for my degree... which is insanely supportive considering that it'll take me 900kms away from him for three years. He's immature and mature at the same time, and he frequently boggles my mind. Which is good, because I'm at a point of cynicism in my life where I believe I can't be surprised by how low humanity can sink, so it's good that he proves not everyone's terrible. I'd have more to say, but we're going through a rough patch right now because we're both stressed and exhausted because our respective bosses are assholes of the strongest calibre. Other than that, he's showing a greater resilience to my severe depression than the other guys who have... screamed and run away.

My Golden Retriever named Levi and my 1994 Jeep YJ Wrangler are my favourite things... although Levi is my baby, not a thing. I'm amassing a selection of stuff in my tiny 10x12 room for when I have a house and need to decorate it. I imagine it's a girl thing. I've got dishes, cutlery, and several wall hangings, mirrors and pictures. In my room, unopened, because they're for later. So, now, plus three years of university [debt], then we get an apartment. And a marriage certificate, if that promise works out. Basically I'm waiting for the future to come.

So... yeah. That's about it.
